Just completed our first Entry Level Functional Skills ICT course in Slough. Well done to all our learners who achieved this certificate! We are now embedding this into our standard Moving Towards Work course - helping learners improve their IT skills and adding value to their CVs!

It's been another busy month for our Functional Skills Maths and English programmes in the MoD. We have numerous programmes running and there have been a high number of new enrolments amongst military and civilian staff across various sites - which must remain nameless!
We are now working with our first cohort of learners in our Hackney Centre under the newly awarded DWP 'Flexible Support Fund' grant. This course will build the learners' confidence and support them into employment. This is a really positive new initiative to kick-off 2017!
We are straight into the new year delivering Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook courses for the NHS in Leatherhead, Surrey. This is a lively set of courses and we are receiving some great client feedback!

Detailed tracking is vital and our analysis shows that 48% of our unemployed learners have made a positive progression either into employment or further education. We are so grateful that our programmes have such a positive impact on our learners and their families.
We are pleased to be working with Jobcentre Plus in Stevenage, delivering our brand new 'Ways to Wellbeing' course. The course has completed successfully with some fantastic learner feedback!
We have now introduced our first courses delivered in partnership with Cambridge Regional College. Two cohorts of learners in our Watford and Hackney centres are enrolled and working towards the BTEC Certificate in Workskills.

Lots of activity this month on our Career Coaching programme for DWP in Berkshire. We have been running group workshops and delivering one-to-one coaching sessions in Reading, Staines and Maidenhead for those with more complex needs.
We have now completed an innovative pilot programme for DWP in Thames Valley, supporting 50 long term unemployed people. This 12-month programme has been successful in improving confidence and moving them closer towards work. Several have moved into self-employment and secured volunteering positions - well done!
